FTA Speedway
Go-Kart racing every Sunday afternoon May – October. This 1/6 mile clay oval track has relatively short straights and moderately banked corners offering a fast two groove race track that is sure to make the hair stand up on the back of the racers necks as well as the spectators. Fun for the whole family.

Kathi's Pumkin Patch
Kathi's Pumkin patch, located on Hwy 2 just east of town, offers something for everyone in the fall. There is a corn maze, corn filled pool for the kids to play in and don't forget the pumkin patch were you can find just the right pumpkin for the perfect jack-o-lantern...maybe you'll even see the Great Pumkin while you are there. Apple Daze
Held the third weekend in September. Activities, exhibits, contests, presentations and entertainment all dedicated to the apple, one of southeast Iowa's most notable agricultural offerings.

Lee County Fair

Easter Egg Hunt
This event occurs the Saturday immediately before Easter Sunday at Donnellson Health Center. Children are divided into age groups, where they search for candy on the lawn of the Health Center.
Pasta Supper
Toward the end of October, the Embury United Methodist Church holds a Pasta Supper featuring home made chicken & noodles, beef & noodles, spaghetti, lasagna, salad & French bread, pies, and desserts.
Farmers Market
