The Montrose Police Department is staffed with 4 personnel consisting of a Full-time Police Chief and 3 Part-time Officers serving the city of Montrose.
Montrose Fire and Rescue Association provide services to the city of Montrose and Montrose and Jefferson Townships, for a total population of 2,500. The association is 4 years old and has 25 volunteers.
